Team Bios

Jacob Drozd is an Associate at RJL Real Estate Consultants with a focus on the sale and leasing of commercial properties in El Paso.

Prior to joining RJL, Jacob was a successful residential sales agent, REALTOR®, serving the El Paso and Fort Bliss communities, representing buyers, sellers, and renters. From 2022 to 2024, he assisted over 100 clients and closed more than $22M in sales. Jacob was one of the top producers in his brokerage and gained a reputation among his clients and real estate professionals for his excellent service, responsiveness, expertise, and clear communication, consistently going above and beyond to represent his clients and ensure smooth and successful transactions.

Jacob was born and raised in Southern Connecticut. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he played Football and competed on the Track & Field team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science and commissioned as an Army Officer in 2015. Jacob was stationed at Fort Bliss and served in the 11^th Air Defense Artillery Brigade and the 3^rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1^st Armored Division. He is a proud Army Veteran.

Jacob and his wife, Melissa Babina, fell in love with El Paso and decided to call it home after exiting the Military. They enjoy sharing their love for the city with everyone they meet. They are members of Progress 321 and like frequenting local coffee shops, cooking, and hosting dinners and game nights with friends.
