Ricardo Apodaca Jr. serves as CFO while overseeing day to day operations for RJL Real Estate Consultants and Property Management. He serves as an accountant for our company’s client’s property, developing relationships, providing guidance and advice to ensure all clients financial needs are being met.
Mr. Apodaca previously worked protecting the southern border as a United States Border Patrol Agent before graduating with his BA in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso. His love for numbers influenced him in making a career change to accounting where he was employed with Tenet Healthcare as a Senior Accountant.
He worked closely with the CFO and Controller to ensure the hospitals financials and month end were aligned.
Since then, Mr. Apodaca has received his Master of Science in Accounting from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing his Certified Public Accounting certification. Although he is often confused as Drake, the popular rapper, he ensures hard work is greater than fame. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on his 1970 Chevelle and going to the gym.
